U Pointe on Speight is a luxury student housing project made up of 178 apartment units in Waco, Texas.

U Pointe on Speight is a luxury student housing project consisting of 178 apartment units. This 321,000 square foot community is situated three blocks southwest of the Baylor University campus on 2.8 acres in Waco, Texas.

The community includes a 5-story building surrounding a 6-level precast parking garage with direct access to residences.

Amenities include a well-appointed courtyard with a swimming pool accentuated with a jumbotron and televisions, outdoor lounge area, fitness center, cybercafé and study areas.

Apartment buildings are Type III wood frame construction. The exterior surfaces are composed of fiber cement siding, brick masonry, and storefront glass at the amenity areas. All buildings within the community are built upon post tensioned concrete slabs on grade. Interior finishes include painted drywall ceilings and walls with a textured finish, and a mix of carpet, wood, resilient vinyl plank flooring and porcelain tile.
