THUNDER RIDGE

Project Timeline: February 2011 – December 2012

General Contractor: FaverGray

Client: Aslan Development

Architect: Oliver Architecture

The Thunder Ridge Senior Apartments project is a 42-unit, 45,000 square foot apartment building catering to residents 62 years and older.

The building is a three-story structure constructed with wood frame on a post-tensioned floor slab. The exterior façade consists of brick veneer and Hardie plank siding.

Due to the inclement weather in the area, the building is built with interior corridors and an elevator to accommodate the residents.

The project has common areas on each floor providing the residents with an exercise room, community room and beauty salon. The site layout provides for a lighted walking trail.
