FaverGray welcomed Brandy Arens to the team as a Project Accountant in February. Brandy has worked in accounting for 18 years as a receivable and payables associate for various companies.
She began her career in accounting at KLS Martin LP. She was working in their consignment department building or implant and instrument trays. She was approached and asked if she would be willing to help with the company’s outstanding collections. After assisting for a month, she was officially moved to the accounting team.
She grew her accounting experience working for the nonprofit FCNMHP, working in their business office as the Patient Care Coordinator. She worked with families and grant partners to help families pay for veterinary care at discounted rates and sometimes helping families qualify for free assistance.
After a few years, she left the nonprofit to work as an Accounts Receivable / Payables Coordinator for a local file mile delivery and consolidation company. She grew the department and was promoted to the Accounting and Human Resources Manager.
