St. James Health and Rehabilitation Center, (formerly known as Franklin County Nursing Home), is a 90-bed, 39,000 square foot, skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center in Carrabelle, Florida.
The base design for this facility divides the resident rooms into two zones with each having its own nurses’ station. Each nurse station includes a medicine preparation area, nourishment, clean utility, soiled utility and necessary storage areas.
The foundation includes continuous footers with a conventional 4” slab. The exterior façade consists of brick and Hardi-plank over a wood-framed structure. The roof is constructed of fiberglass shingles. The floor finishes include a mix of ceramic tile, VCT, carpet and wood. Interior walls consist of a textured finish, paint and wall coverings.
