Kimbers Cove is a 288-unit apartment community consisting of 14 two-story buildings, 5 three-story apartment buildings, a clubhouse with a swimming pool, two mail centers, a maintenance building, and a trash compactor. The community also offers after school programs and a technology center.

Kimbers Cove, constructed under HUD’s 221(d)(4) program, earmarked 40% of its units for residents earning at or below 60% of annual median income for Jacksonville.

FaverGray was contracted to complete the partially constructed project when the initial contractor defaulted on the project.

The contract required the demolition of 2 apartment buildings and completion of all 24 structures, complete water service, asphalt paving, site hardscape, landscaping, and perimeter fencing.
