JOE PETERS JOINS FAVERGRAY AS THE NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

FaverGray is proud to announce Joseph (Joe) Peters as the new Chief Financial Officer for The FaverGray Company, FaverGray Residential and FaverGray Homes.  

Joe joins the FaverGray family of companies from Gale International, a large-scale, full-service real estate developer operating in the United States and Asia, where Joe has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2014. At Gale International, Joe was an integral part of the design, development and construction of millions of square feet of class-A office space and residential/multi-family in New Jersey, New York and Florida. At Gale International, Joe was also heavily involved in the development of the Songdo International Business District in South Korea.  Songdo International Business District is a $35 Billion city that consists of 70 million square feet of development including over 30,000 multi-family units.

 Prior to Gale International, Joe served as the Chief Financial Officer for Workstage, LLC, a start-up, design-build real estate development firm formed as a joint venture between Steelcase, Inc. and Gale International. At Workstage, Joe led the day-to-day financial operations including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, tax and audit procedures as well as being responsible for strategic corporate growth for both new development opportunities and investments, including all planning, acquisition and related finance activities for new business. In Joe’s 14 years at Workstage, he was an integral part of growing the start-up commercial real estate firm into an award-winning commercial real estate development company constructing in excess of 8 million square feet of office, multifamily, healthcare and educational space.

 Joe is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a minor in Accounting. Joe is a member of CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association) as well as the American Bankers Association. In Joe’s tenured career as a construction and real estate development CFO, he has received numerous honors, awards and distinctions for his work, including: 2003 AIA Honor Award for Sustainable Design, 2004 AIA Honor Award for Architecture, 2006 Coronet Award for Countries Largest Project Recovery, 2008 Realcomm Most Innovative Developer Award and in 2018 was recognized for delivering the world’s first LEED and WELL certified multifamily residential project in New York City.

Joe possesses a significant amount of relevant experience and is well and uniquely qualified to lead FaverGray’s finance and accounting operations into the future as FaverGray continues to grow and expand.
