General Contractor: FaverGray was selected as the General Contractor during the site selection process and provided Preconstruction and Due Diligence services through the project completion.
The Haven on 12 project is a 536-bed, 249,792 square foot student housing community located on approximately 10 acres on Highway 12 in Starkville, Mississippi.
Site improvements consist of a major export of on-site overburden, water and sewer utilities that tie into existing public utilities, and on-site storm drainage/retention ponds. The site improvements also include modular block retaining walls, hardscaping, landscaping and irrigation, asphalt paving, and concrete sidewalks.
The development consists of six 4-story apartment buildings, one single-story community center, a maintenance building, and community pool/pavilion area. The unit mix includes 32 two-bedroom / two-bathroom, 8 three-bedroom / three-bathroom, and 112 four-bedroom / four-bathroom.
Construction is generally wood frame with cementitious siding and brick veneer. All building slabs are post-tensioned concrete on grade with turned down foundations.
Interior finishes are painted drywall, textured ceilings, and a mixture of carpet and faux wood flooring.
