FAVERGRAY CELEBRATES WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION WEEK 2023

WIC Week™, or Women in Construction Week™, celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. NAWIC held the first WIC Week in 1998 and it has grown and expanded each year since. Many of the local chapters hold WIC Week events, which can include making presentations to high school classes, job site tours, luncheons, and virtual events. Check out some of the WIC events on their website.

This year’s theme, ‘Many Paths, One Mission’, celebrates the different journeys women have taken toward the same goal: strengthening and amplifying the success of women in the construction industry.

While the ratio between men and women working in construction is significantly higher, the gap is narrowing every year. More women are working on job sites and as administrative leaders in the construction industry than ever before. WIC provides us with the opportunity to highlight women as a fundamental part of the construction industry.

FaverGray is proud to commemorate Women in Construction Week 2023 by introducing you to the impressive, talented, and accomplished women on our FaverGray team!
