Faver co-founded FaverGray in 2005 and has more than 36 years of design-build and construction management experience in the residential, commercial and industrial market sectors. As President, Faver is responsible for implementing and managing corporate strategy and vision, managing overall corporate operations and budgeting, operational risk management, market sector analysis, management of client relationships and large-scale program development and management.
Hinson, an original member of FaverGray dating back to the company’s inception, most recently served as Division Leader of Student Housing and has more than 22 years of experience in the design and construction business. As Executive Vice President, Hinson is responsible for overall project operations, divisional management and support, business development, preconstruction planning and management, contract negotiations, resource allocation and project level financial reporting.
Thomason, an original member of FaverGray dating back to the company’s inception, most recently served as Director of Construction for the Student Housing Division. Thomason has more than 20 years of design/build and construction management experience in the residential, commercial and industrial market sectors. As Director of Operations, Thomason is responsible for developing and managing corporate “best practices” for preconstruction services, project planning, scheduling, safety and quality control programs. Thomason is also responsible for corporate oversight of all divisional field operations and resource allocation to ensure that each project has a successful plan and a complementary staff to achieve corporate performance and financial objectives.
Adam Tveras, an original member of FaverGray dating back to the company’s inception, has more than 24 years of experience in design/build and construction management in multiple industry sectors including commercial, hospitality, education, and institutional, multifamily, and student housing.
Kitchens joined FaverGray in 2010 and has more than 20 years of construction management and design/build experience. As Division Leader, Kitchens manages divisional operations, project development strategies, preconstruction services, customer relations and oversight of all divisional staff to ensure that each project team meets or exceeds schedule, financial and customer satisfaction objectives.
Higby brings over 33 years of diversified experience in the construction industry as a seasoned Design and Construction Executive, including serving as Federal Director, Senior Vice President and Division Director for a large construction firm. As Division Leader, Higby manages divisional operations, project development strategies, preconstruction services, customer relations and oversight of all divisional staff to ensure that each project team meets or exceeds schedule, financial and customer satisfaction objectives.
Walker Palmer brings more than 22 years of experience in the multifamily and commercial construction industry. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Florida, Palmer also holds a LEED Accredited Professional certification. As Division Leader, Palmer manages divisional operations, project development strategies, preconstruction services, customer relations and oversight of all divisional staff to ensure that each project team meets or exceeds schedule, financial and customer satisfaction objectives.
Hill, who most recently served as Senior Superintendent for FaverGray, has more than 38 years of field experience in multi-family housing, student housing, and commercial construction. As Director of Construction, Hill is responsible for field staffing with oversight and support for his staff to ensure that each project has the resources and information to build the projects safely, on time, and with quality.
David Bolt joined FaverGray in 2012 after graduating from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. In the 10 years since joining FaverGray, Bolt has been an instrumental part of many of our most successful projects. David’s thirst for knowledge and continual self-improvement is unrivaled. As Director of Construction in Kitchens’ Division, Bolt is responsible for field staffing with oversight and support for his staff to ensure that each project has the resources and information to build the projects safely, on time, and with quality.
Sork joined FaverGray in 2012 and has more than 27 years of development and construction management experience in multifamily housing, student housing, single family, industrial and commercial markets. As Project Director, Sork is responsible for project management staffing, direct financial and project management oversight and support of his staff. Andy brings his extensive operational skills to the projects, and is instrumental in the preconstruction of the upcoming projects and overall project management in this division.
Harrison joined FaverGray in 2015 and brings 38 years of extensive operational and construction experience to the team. As Project Director, A.Y. is responsible for project management staffing, direct financial and project management oversight and support of his staff.

As the Director of Construction for 908 Group, I am responsible for overseeing our multi-family construction projects throughout the United States. The Nine a lumbia Apartments are a wood framed, 5-story, 486 bed, off-campus student housing community located blocks from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. We selected FaverGray as our construction manager for this project based on their qualifications and tremendous industry track record with delivering student housing. The Nine, which includes six multi-unit townhome buildings, a wood frame apartment wrapped precast garage, a swimming pool, retaining walls, and surface parking is still being completed on a sloped site with complex site logistics bordered by one of the busiest streets in town. Despite numerous straight days of rain at the onset of the project, the on-site staff and FaverGray Leadership teams collaborated well with their subcontractors and building officials and are working to complete the project both on time and within budget for some very excited students starting the Fall 2021 semester in their new homes.
The FaverGray team functions as an extension of our staff and provides front end services of great value. They are virtually a completely integrated partner from beginning to end.

Coursey Architects has been successfully producing multi-family projects for 50 years. We have worked alongside FaverGray for many years on many projects. We find them to be efficient, thorough and highly professional. Parkside at the Beach is one of our favorite projects we designed, and FaverGray built; luxurious design, built solid, and was sold for a large profit after a year of successful occupancy. We are pleased to work with them and will continue to refer them on projects we are producing.
Easlan Capital of Atlanta and its affiliate Parkside Equities have been developing mixed-use and multifamily properties throughout the southeast since 1982. It is with great pleasure that we have been successful in awarding the last three projects, consisting of 810 units to FaverGray. All three were completed on time and within budget. Parkside at the Beach was actually ahead of schedule and after a record lease-up, the property was sold within 36 months of construction start. The field team has deep experience and dedicated leadership. FaverGray was the selected general contractor on a recent student housing bid project designed by our firm, Coursey Architects, in Gainesville, FL; the project delivery date was met for the fall of 2019, (to the Owner’s satisfaction and the new tenants’ great enjoyment), as was required by the Owner, due to the diligence of the FaverGray team from top to bottom. The field team had deep experience and dedicated leadership and was well supported by the project management team, back-office, and company leadership team across the board. This was a complex 3-building project, on 3 separate sites in the city, so it was really like managing 3 projects at once; each site had its own challenges and opportunities, and FaverGray managed these all very well.
American Campus Communities (ACC) has worked with FaverGray for over 10 years completing 12 projects across 5 states, including 6.8 million square feet, 4,425 units, and 17,000 beds. Each project built by the ACC/FaverGray partnership has been completed on time and within budget. FaverGray has demonstrated a high level of success related to pricing, subcontractor/supplier relationships, and customer service. Projects completed between our partnership range from townhomes, 3-story walk-up, podium, and infill 5-story type IIIa with a wrapped parking structure. All endeavors completed with FaverGray have been on a design-assist basis with a GMP contract structure, with FaverGray being an integral part of the development team from concept design through completion and turnover. The ownership and management team at FaverGray have operated with integrity, professionalism, and dedication in delivering successful projects. I would recommend FaverGray as one of the most established general contractors in the student housing industry.

Elbow Cay was chosen because we feel we could have the most meaningful impact there, given our own limited resources.
Founded in 2005 by Hilda and Jose Ettedgui, MD, Patrons of the Hearts is a partnership between Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the University of Florida Pediatric Cardiovascular Center at Jacksonville. Wolfson Children’s and U of F donate the cost of inpatient hospitalization and physician services for heart repair, while Patrons of the Hearts covers the supplies, housing and incidentals for each child.
