CELEBRATING TAYLOR TRACY’S WELL-DESERVED PROMOTION TO PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

At FaverGray, recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of our employees is an integral part of our culture. We are thrilled to announce and congratulate Taylor Tracy on his recent promotion to Project Superintendent. Taylor’s journey with us has been nothing short of remarkable, showcasing his dedication, initiative, and exceptional skills in the construction industry. Let’s take a closer look at Taylor’s impressive career progression and the qualities that make him the perfect fit for his new role.

A Journey of Growth and Success:

Taylor joined FaverGray in April 2016 as a college intern, eager to learn and contribute to our projects. From the start, Taylor displayed remarkable organization, focus, and a high level of initiative. His commitment and drive quickly elevated him to the position of Assistant Project Manager, proving that he was ready for more significant responsibilities.

In the summer of 2017, Taylor volunteered to move to Lubbock, TX to support the field team in completing the 21Hundred project. This decision showcased his determination and willingness to go above and beyond. Taylor’s valuable contributions to the project, particularly in successfully completing the punch process for the 1,000+ bed project, earned him respect and admiration from his colleagues.

Continued Growth and Excellence:

Upon his return, Taylor continued to excel within the company. Working closely with Adam Gray, he played a vital role in pre-construction activities for the challenging Flamingo Crossings project. Taylor’s coordination skills and attention to detail were instrumental in managing the interior scope, pricing, value engineering, and buyout processes.

In May 2018, Taylor graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in building construction. Eager to apply his knowledge and skills in the field, he excelled as Assistant Superintendent on the Flamingo Crossings project in February 2019. Over the course of three years, Taylor effectively managed the interior production of 41 apartment buildings, showcasing his ability to handle complex scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving.

Taylor’s Commitment and Work Ethic:

Taylor Tracy’s commitment to excellence and his strong work ethic have always been evident throughout his tenure at FaverGray. He consistently went above and beyond, willingly taking on additional responsibilities and never shying away from challenges. Taylor’s dedication to his work was exemplified during a critical moment when he saved a failing gypcrete pour. He immersed himself in the task to the point of becoming fully covered in gypcrete, earning the endearing nickname “dragging the hose” from his colleagues. This anecdote symbolizes Taylor’s unwavering commitment and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver exceptional results.

Recognizing Taylor’s Progress:

Since May 2022, Taylor has been serving as the Assistant Superintendent on  The Aston at Town Center project in Jacksonville, FL. Throughout his time on the project, he has displayed remarkable growth, both in measurable and intangible management qualities. Taylor’s meticulous and analytical approach, coupled with his outstanding problem-solving skills, have set him apart as an effective superintendent.

With great pride and pleasure, we congratulate Taylor Tracy on his promotion to Project Superintendent. His journey from an intern to a key member of our management team is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and continuous pursuit of excellence. Taylor’s commitment to his craft and his ability to lead and inspire others make him the perfect fit for his new role. As we celebrate this significant milestone in Taylor’s career, we look forward to witnessing his continued growth and contributions to the success of FaverGray. Congratulations, Taylor!
