EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: FRAN HUBER, SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

We are excited to shine a spotlight on one of our valued team members at FaverGray, Fran Huber. As a Senior Project Accountant, Fran brings over 20 years of experience in the Construction Industry, making her an invaluable asset to our organization. Let’s get to know her better and learn about her journey with us.

Fran joined our team in December of 2022, and since then, she has made a significant impact on our accounting department. With her extensive background in construction accounting, Fran brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She has worked with both Civilian and Military General Contractors, allowing her to gain valuable insights and adaptability in her field.

When asked about her decision to join the FaverGray team, Fran simply said, “I wanted a forever home.” It is clear that she found a place where she can thrive professionally and personally, surrounded by a professional and fun company culture.

As a Senior Project Accountant, Fran summarizes her work as challenging, fun, and fulfilling. Her typical day is always busy, and she embraces the unexpected nature of her job, reminding us to “expect the unexpected” in the construction industry.

One of the aspects Fran looks forward to at work is being a team player. Collaboration and camaraderie are crucial to her, and she finds inspiration in her colleagues and their dedication to achieving common goals. Fran draws inspiration from her parents, who have been a guiding force in her life.

Outside of work, Fran enjoys swimming, reading, solving puzzles, and cherishing precious moments with her grandson. Despite her outgoing nature, you might be surprised to learn that Fran doesn’t particularly enjoy large crowds. Her preference for more intimate settings reflects her genuine and down-to-earth personality.

Fran lives by the motto, “Be kind and true to God and Country.” This personal mantra resonates with her strong values and principles, which she brings to both her personal and professional life. She firmly believes that kindness and integrity are essential in building strong relationships and achieving success.

When asked to define success, Fran believes that being a team player is key. For her, success is not solely measured by personal accomplishments but rather by the collective achievements of the team.
