After the owner/developer/general contractor of this HUD apartment complex defaulted on the project, the surety bond company put the construction work out to bid. The project sat idle for eight months before FaverGray was selected as the low, qualified bidder to complete the project.
Of the 21 buildings in the complex, only nine had been started, two of which had to be demolished. The FaverGray team took control of the permitting process, assisted with the redesign of the project and worked closely with HUD, the City of Jacksonville and the surety bond company to make sure the project got back on track.
FaverGray completed the first phase of the project a month earlier than projected and completed phases two and three on time and within budget.
